Can someone shed some light upon the advantages and disadvantages of the joining strategies in BRIO 6.6?
There are these options
Use all joined Topics
Use the minimum number of Topics
Use all referenced Topics
Use defined Join paths
Use Automatic join path generator
A co-worker of mine advised me to use option 3, but it appeared to me that this didnÂ’t work, as I would have hoped.
I have a situation with three tables
Request-------<Request_Detail>-------Product_Family
I only wanted columns from Request and Product_Family but Brio advised me that the tables were not properly joined.
Would one of the other join options have equipped Brio with the power to join across a non SELECTed table?
