I am the designated admin for our small office and pretty much a newbie at networking and novell, though I have taken a couple of Novell classes.  We just had our vendor do an upgrade from 4.11 (without Groupwise) to 5.0 for small businesses which includes groupwise. Because of budget constraints, we did not have our vendor configure and install groupwise for us. This is now left to me. Before I discovered the documentation on the Groupwise CD I went ahead and installed Groupwise on our server using the “set-up” program on the CD and let it use the default settings. We have a very simple network: one server, one tree, one volume, less than 30 users;  it is  partitioned. Is there anything else I need to do before installing groupwise on the client? Do I need to create an object for groupwise or should the set-up program have done this automatically.

I ended up figuring out to do the install on my own...now just working out some of the kinks...it was less complicated than it looked from the on-line guidelines...particularly since our network is so small.
