Advice on FTP server

Hi,
I want to have a ftp server. can anyone suggest a secure anonymous ftp server. I hear that the ftp servers have security loop holes.

Most distros already have an area set up for annonymous ftp and come with wu-ftp. You can set this up to have anonftp users and system ftp users with different privs. If you are new to setting up servers or linux in general, I suggest you get WebMin from

http://www.webmin.com

and it will make life a lot easier on ya. It is a GUI for administration of all your severs and system.
