Hi everyone,

I just got a job re-doing web pages for a local goverment agency, but I need some advice. They are wanting to change the format of their site, their old one consists of one topic main page and 12 sub-topics, there are currently 400 pages divided among the 12 sub-topics. Each sub-topic uses it's own template.

They want the 12 sub topics pages re-grouped to 4 topic main pages, instead of one. All of these pages will use one template.

Now my question is, what would be the best way for me to migrate all the information and data queries to the new format? Is there an easy way to go about this?

Thanks in advance

Since they used templates, try making global changes. I use HomeSite by Macromedia which allows me to highlite a section of code. I can then use the extended replace function to change many pages at once. It may require several steps, but I'm sure it will still speed things up a bit. Mike Diaz
