IS-IT--Management
I hope someone can point me in the right direction here.
Situation:
I have approx 90 secondary site servers with a minimum of 30 clients attached to each. Historically (untill I started with this firm) there has been 3 versions of SAV running within the infrastructure, version 7, 8, and 9.
I have managed with various methods (like RemoteClientInstall) managed to migrate about 2/3 of the infrastructure across to version 10.
I now need help with the remainder, from what i understand i cant do this via script and retain the previous version settings (such as parent server). Also if i install via Active Directory i will have to create different case statements for each subnet (this is because each subnet has its own parent site)
Can somebody please shed some light on the above please, and if possible direct me to some examples of how to sort this prob.
Thanks
