Hi

I've been asked to visit a site and survey a Nortel Norstar system, trouble is I've never even seen one before. I'm familiar with the Meridian Option 61, but from what I've seen on the web they are very different.

Basically I need to get an idea of the number of phones and how they are configured. Can anyone give me some advice on the best way to do this, please?

I have no idea what's installed and as the site is being closed down so there's a bit of bad feeling in the air, unfortunately that means I'm not going to get much help from the people on site.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Note all NT numbers on the wall including software version on the card and the rls # on the NVRAM that holds the card if applicable.
Take a picture of the system
Post back if need.

Get NT code or M7XXX # on bottom of sets.

On the phones you can look at the buttons but also do F*0 (Button Inquiry) and press buttons to see what they do.
Setup does not matter if they are closing though?.

Info in programming helps but cant train you here as you know.
