I'm taking the 70-297 AD design exam in a couple of weeks and was hoping for any advice in prepping. I've heard it's quite hard?

I've studied and taken the 70-270, 70-290, 70-291, 70-293 and 70-294 over the past month and a bit. Are there any specific areas to practice that won't have been covered during revision for the exams to date?

Any advice for techniques etc? Also how are the questions formatted (I've heard they're longer?) and are there any good practice resources that demonstrate the style of questions?

Thanks in advance.

The 70-297 exam format is different from the others;

You get 4 case scenarios and for each scenario you get about 30 mins to answer between 8-10 questions. At the end of each case scenario you can review the questions for that section only, unlike the other exams where you can review all questions from the exam.

It threw me a little when I took the exam but after the first case scenario I had got used to the format.

is quite good practice for this.

Thanks. I'll take a look at measure up

Are there any specific areas of knowledge I should touch up on that will be asked?

I assume the questions are less specific and more to do with planning and placement of servers and services etc?

Cheers,

There is a bit of everything in this exam.

Correct, stuff about DC and GC placement, site links. Also DNS and WINS. I had a b*itch of a WINS question on mine that took me a while to suss.

I'll see what else I can remember about the exam and post back.

I'll just correct my link as well

Thanks Mark.

Having done al the other exams so recently at least all that stuff should be fairly easy to remember!
