Advertisement Status Reporting Problems

Over the past couple of days, our SMS 2.0 SP5 Primary Site has been reporting some very odd numbers for some of our advertisment statuses. All of the sudden, several of our advertisments are showing received, started and success numbers in the thousands, even one I just advertised yesterday. We only have about 400 client computers in our site. I checked the status messages and for some reason, Some entries are being repeated hundreds of times. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Couple of questions ?

What is the message ID on all of the status messages. Are all of them same ?

Could it be possible that the advertisements are installing over and over..? Check recurring schedule on the advertisement.

The message IDs are the same but the advertisment is not installing over and over. The logs on the clients confirm this. These advertisements have been out there for several weeks and just starting doing this a couple weeks ago.
