I'm trying to test how long it takes for SMS to do hidden install of IBM's Client Access. I set up the package, program, and advertisement yesterday, and told it to run right away. It showed up in the APM on the test client but it was waiting for me to tell it to start. I think I changed a setting to fix it, but I have no idea what setting it was (was it making it mandatory?). Anyway, the one time I've gotten it to work I was in a meeting, so I don't know why it worked or how long it took. And I don't understand how it decides when to go, because it seems like a random time (1-15 hours later then the scheduled time) when it goes. Also, I made a message that comes up to alert users that something is installing. I got that message on my PC at a random time this morning, then got the message from APM a minute later that something was going to install, then five minutes later got the message that my PC needed to reboot because the program was done. But it didn't actuall install (should take at least 20 mins) and APM and the server think it was successful. ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Within the properties of the advertisement, you need to set a specific time to make it mandatory, or scheduled interval etc.
