Advantage of Microsoft over Keystroke

I am going into an interview in a few days for an IT manager position. I found out from the owner of the company that they are currently going to be migrating their point of sale software from keystroke to microsoft - great plains.

I want to study up a bit about these two systems before I go into the interview. I am just wondering if anyone has experience with either or of these two point of sale systems. If so why is microsoft better? Does it integrate everything into an online portal?
