Hy, I'm having problems customizing the MS - project tracking template. The default tracking is based only in dates and I need to track date time values.

When I use the list filtering option, I use the [Today] formula, but it doesn't work with date-time columns. So I get the notification of the Overdue Task hours later, when the date changes.

How can I get the NOW value or get a work-around?

In Advanced, thank's for your help

Create a column called "Today", create the calculated column with the formula using "Today". After that delete the column Today. Trust me it makes no sense but it works. If you ever have to change the calculated field just repeat the process. Have fun.

Thanks, but becuase I'm using a MS Template, it will afect the whole Application, cause other parts deppends ?n the column.

with the template I have some restrictions, like if I add a column it won't appear in the edit view. I'm trying all the imaginable ways, and the only ones I've have left is to obtain the Now value or edit the template with sharepoint designer, but I bet for the first option or to be iluminated by someone.

thanks!!!

Sorry Man, I misunderstand your advice, I’ll already try it but it didn't work out.

do you have any other suggestion?

Looks like the recent release of v3 got patched. That trick no longer works.
