hi,

i was wondering how to do a rollover similar to the one at istockphoto when you rollover one of the thumbnail images.

Here is a link for example:

i would like to have a feature similar to when you rollover one of the pictures on my website when someone rolls over a small thumbnail photo.

Can i buy a program to do this?
Is this javascript?

Thanks

Is this javascript?

Yes, this effect can be achieved with javascript.

I don't know that you'd find something exactly like what you're looking for. If you want to make a stab at coding it yourself then you could look at the javascript in the page you pointed out to get a start. If you get stuck you can always come here to get advice. If you're really looking to pay for it, then you can contact a lot of the javascript MVPs via links in their signatures to see if they would do it for you. However, it is imperative that you conduct business off the site (i.e. out of the forums) because that is not w/in the scope of what tek-tips is intended for.

I'm sorry I missed this post earlier, but I just spent a week struggling through this same problem. If you're still working on it, the code at this link might be helpful:

The code I came up with is at but I don't recommend it because I'm a rank amateur at javascript.

Sorry I didn't see this post and respond sooner. Hope you've already solved it.
