Hi,
I'm in the process of developing a report viewer for Crystal Enterprise 8.
I'm totally new to Crystal reports and have been reliably informed that there is a way to pass a custom SQL WHERE clause to a report. This Where clause would be built up using either CSP or ASP and a form, giving the user the maximum flexibility when viewing the report.
As I said, I'm new to CE, but I have picked up the usefulness of paramenter fields and how they can be sent to the APS to generate specific constraints on the returned report. But I want to be able to control the report at a more fundamental level.
Is this possible and if it is can someone point out some good reference material?
Thanks,
Neil.
