Hi,

I wnat to

My setup:
The main office has some IPX service on Netware3.2. A small sub-office is hidden behind a NAT router that does not route IPX.

Now I have two Windows 2000 servers that are candidates for making an IPX tunnel over PPTP. The one behind the NAT router is the VPN client as this router is a PPTP VPN end point also (and I can't do a PPTP pass-through).

So W2Kserver2 is PPTP client to W2Kserver1 with only the IPX protocol running. The main office has IPXnet 1 and the suboffice is set to have IPX net 3 (00000003).
In RRAS on server1 I've added a static IPXroute to the virtual MAC adress of the VPN client on server2.

Now, with the GSNW set on server2 I can browse the IPXnet 1.
So I can use net1 on server 2. But what I want is server2 to act as a IPXrouter for all the other machines in net 3.

How to accomplish that?
I first tried to consider the tunnel as a Bridge, with both offices on IPX net1. That didn't work either, but maybe I missed something?
How do I get SAP packets from the main-office to spread through the sub-office?

Thanks in advance for all your input..

Loek Gijben
