Hi Everyone,

I'm new in SMS
I installed sms 2003 in advanced security mode and extended the AD scheme...so far everything went well
Now i want to install the advanced client with the client push method
I created a installation account (domain admin account) but do i also have to use the adv client access account?
Oh and another question is about the sql service account
I used a domain user account for that instead of the local system account
i can't see any problems so far so is this a good methode?

Thx Marco

You should add the adv client access account. This is the account used for adv clients who cannot access distribution points using the machine account. Like a workgroup client.

Not sure about your SQL question. Since I used advanced security, everything is using the local system account.

You maybe dont see issues right now with the User account, however adding more Site or tools might have an issues.

Its easier to run site reset change it, and avoiding issues in the future.
