Advanced 36 - AS/400 Tape Upgrade

Since we are upgrading our AS/400s (170s, 720s) with 6383 tape units to overcome the V5R2 issue, I was wondering ....

Can you also upgrade an Advanced 436 C model running V4R5 from the 6380 2.5Gb drive to a 6383 16Gb drive, so that all the machines will be compatible?

I know that a 6383 is compatible under V4R5, but how about on the 436?
