Hi
Running 7.0 on Solaris, the creation of adv_filedevices on the backupserver and on 3 storagenodes with the mount and label was no problem.
On the next storagenode the label of the volume of the adv_filedevices came up with the message " cannot locate rd=portal-adm:/backupfs/ges/portal2/_AF_readonly for label operation".
It seems a problem with the RO-Device which will be automaticaly created at the mount operation.
All adv-filedevices are on an volume of a RAID-disksubsystem
Any idea, whats the problem ?

The "readonly" device is actually created during the labeling process, as you stated yourself.

Could it simply be that this directory already existed (you forgot to delete it before you (again) created the directory?

Run "rm -r :/backupfs/ges/portal2" on this machine and recreate it again.
