Hello -
I am wondering if there is a way to add new text to these lists. I have found the .txt files that show what is included in these lists that will label the message as junk or adult content mail. I have looked and can't find the file that contains the code for these lists. If I was to find it is it possible to add to the list? Is it a registry hack?

Thanks for any assistance.

The file is just a text file so you can just add addresses to it. One entry per line.

Is this what you are asking? joegz

I guess what I was wondering is when I add a line in that txt file does it apply. In the test I did I don't think it worked. I don't think I restarted the computer. If that somehow resets something I don't know.
I was curious if I add a line in that txt file will it then become applied to my mail settings.

Thanks for the time.

When I tested it worked on this end. However I should preface that I think Outlook has to create the file first to recognize the file. Outlook will create the file when you edit the list the first time by going into your Organize function.

If you goal is to transfer the list from one machine to another I would at least add one entry to the list (junk Senders and Adult Senders are two separate test files) so that Outlook creates the file. Then afterwards you can probably just replace the file itself with the preferred copy.

If you just want to add to the list then you should do this through the Organize feature.

Cheers
