I have a network which is connected to my corp. office, I also have adsl coming into this building here local. I have a server hooked up with 2 nic cards one for the network and one for the DSL and a proxy on the server. We have ISDN coming into the building as well as our corporate internet. The problem is that when I have both the network and DSL connections enabled it stops receiving the signal from the DSL modem and instead uses the corporate internet. I hope I explained this alright, someone please help!! Thanks

What are the ip address of the units? When you say the dsl loses sync no you mean from the network are from the central office? Jeter@LasVegas.com

are you sure the DSL is the default route? I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Instead of using the DSL as its internet, it starts using the isdn set up from the corporate office

if, in your router, the corporate route is set as the default route, then all traffic will go that way

as an example
192.168.1.1 to 192.168.100.1 the corporate subnets
192.168.200.1 the router at corporate
192.168.200.2 your router to corporate
192.168.201.1 your router on your subnet
192.168.201.5 DSL router

if the PCs see 192.168.201.5 as their gateway DSL works

but if PCs see 192.168.201.1 as their gateway then routed to corporate

if this is your scenario, the the router to corporate has to be taught that 192.168.201.5 is the default route and that only 192.168.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 goes to corporate. (this assumes your router will mask 192.168.201.0 to you first, most will)

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
