Hi,

Want to improve my home network with a domain controller using a Windows 2003 server with Active Directory on it. And also DNS installed.

But I don't want to use the W2k3 DHCP services. DHCP is to be delivered by my ADSL Modem.

Is this possible or am I up to some serious problems.

You can turn off DHCP on the server. This is how you are able to run more than one server on a windows network.

The answer is "42"

Thanks. I will give it a try.
