ADSL modem and router problems

I'm trying to install an ADSL connection at a friend's...they've a D-Link modem (DSL-300T) which is fine, and the connection works fine. The IP for the modem is 192.168.1.1

However they also want wireless, and have a Netgear WPN824 wireless router...IP ALSO 192.168.1.1

How can I get them to both work together?! I cannot seem to do it, I've tried playing around with DHCP on both, trying DHCP on one device only disabled, but I can't get anything.

Is it even possible?

Many thanks,
Ed

Hi, you need to statically assign an address on one of the devices as 192.168.1.2 for example.
