ADSI Edit and new user attribute displayed

Can anyone give me a tip on how to use ADSI Edit to make a new attribute show up in ADUC when you look at a user. I want to be able to open ADUC and look at a user account and see the Employee ID field (which we already populate with a SAP system, but it does not show in ADUC). I am having difficulty in deducing what to alter in ADSI Edit though. Anyone want to lend a hand?

Not exactly what I wanted. I want to be able to see the Employee Number attribute of the user and make changes to it from the ADUC interface.
