Running NetShield 4.5 for Win2k (Mcafee SP1 installed; Win2k SP3 installed). We have a three tier e-commerce site running IIS with Application Center. With Mcafee enabled, the site fails intermittently and often. If we disable Mcafee, the site works correctly. The only symptoms we can discover are COM+ call times increasing drastically (up to millions of seconds to complete).
Has anyone experienced issues with Mcafee with COM+, Application Center, ADSI, or other such technologies? Any ideas on what could be causing this problem? It also seems to only be the web layer Mcafee that is causing this issue. The App layer doesn't seem to be affected with Mcafee enabled on it and disabled on the web layer.
