Hello,
are there any ads blocker programs for W2K? John Farrow

There was PopUp Killer which was incredible, add your own popup's, select current popup to add to list, edit list including wild cards, as well as a way to upload/download lists to share. Sad part is that the New version is horrid, however there are many people out there who have the old version and are willing to send it to you, I have 1.45.3

all i do is turn off scripting in internet explorer properties.i have to turn it on some times to view a page sometimes which is a pain in the rear-end, but i try to stay away from 3rd party stuff..

You could also take a look at Mozilla ( You can set it up not to display unrequested browser windows (i.e., pop-ups). You can choose the setting by going into: Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Scripts and Windows > Open Unrequested Windows (from memory; forgive any errors!).

I also like it because it lets me view multiple windows using tabs within a single browser window rather than having to Alt-Tab through lots of windows.

I haven't used Mozilla too much, but so far I love it!

Hope that helps,

Don
