I use ADRDSSU to do some bakup, and download the output bakup file to my pc for save vis FTP with BIN, now I want to upload the bakup via FTP with BIN and restore it,but ADRDSSU said the input bakup file is invalid,
what't the matter? what tool can I utilize to cater for this problem? If I write a program to re-format the bakup file into valid format, what's the read/write details?
many thanks.

Is it possible that upon uploading the file back to your mainframe the newly allocated file does not contain the correct DCB definition? Check how your original file was defined, RECFM, LRECL, BLKSIZE etc. and how your restored file is defined. Depending on what FTP software you are using you may need to change your file allocation parameters differently.

This is just a wild guess since you are doing binary transfers.
