ADR2 firmware

Hi:

First i think this forum is remarkable. I've already learned a whole bunch about issues with my drive. Now my questions. I cannot get my ADR 60 to recognize a cleaning tape and the software is giving errors that the drive is dirty. I found the thread that says i need at least 6.05. How can i tell what rev i am at? (In 2K the drive has no driver loaded).

I tried to download from

but it times out.

Lastly, can i just open the unit and clean it with alcohol on a cotton swab?
