I'm trying to reconnect load a front to an SQL server application that was previously on another machine. I know I need to get to File>connections to do this, but the machine it's destined for only has access run-time installation at the moment - meaning I can't get to the database window(i don't think).
Is there anyway around this without having to license another full version of msaccess?
I tried making a copy of my original adp file, then going into file>connections and changing it there in the hopes that it would let me save it even if the other SQL name didn't exist on this network, but no dice.
Anything else I can try?
pain makes man think. thought makes man wise. wisdom makes life endurable
