I have a access db for employee records which contain a OLE photo that displays on the page when thier record is pulled up. I upsized the access database to sql server and it converted all the oles to binary. I am trying to use ADP to display the same records with all the info and the photo, but the page says oles dont work, and I cant make a unbound image frame to put the photo on each record. Ive tried to add a new field called photos thats a varchar using a hyper link to the jpeg.

My question is: Is it possible to display the photo on the page for each reord or will I have to just display the link and click on it to pull up the photo? The link will open a new browser with a small photo. Any way to create a small pop up page for the linked picture?

Oh, and Ive tried the dts in sql server, but I CANNOT connect to my database. It gives an error that the obdc failed to connect or I dont have permission. Ive copied the dbase to a unprotected open version, but no luck. I dont know why access 2002 wont behave with sql server.

All help is GREATLY appreciated

I have seen an answer where it was suggested to have a folder of pics called the userName of the person eg. jblogs.jpg.

Then you can have something like me.pic.picture = "c:\pics\" + user + ".jpg
