adp connection to SQL

We lost a terminal server and had it rebuilt by someone unfamiliar with the active directory.

terminal server is windows 2000 SP 4
sql server is on an NT 4.0
Access 2002 SP 3
SQL 6.0

We now cannot get an ADP project, existing or new to connect to our sql server. We are able to locate the server on the network and browse the drives, and Crystal reports is able to connect and report on data.
