I want to make SQL queries to an excel file. What is the appropriate object to use, ADODB or ODBC connection? Which are the diferences? Thanks.

use ADODB connections, as Excel is also from Microsoft, which will allow u to use the ADO obkject model in Excel aslo.

ok, and which is the proper provider for excel? Is Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 ok? I have troubles using this one.
