Adobe Version Cue on a Network?

Hi I'm working on a pc, xp, and on Adobe Creative Suite cs, and would like to know how do I save a file on a network through version cue? I made file>place> hit the version cue button on the bottom left, >new project and by location where you can scroll down it says only my name and (my computer) but not the network, what's going on here, can't you save it on a regular network?
