Has anyone experienced problems when accessing Adobe Acrobat Standard 6? Specifically, when accessing this program a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library -- Runtime Error! Program: C:\PROGRAM FILES\ADOBE\ACROBAT 6.0\ACROBAT\ACROBAT.EXE abnormal program terminaion" error occurs when I have a DMS (document management program)loaded. When the DMS is unloaded, Adobe opens okay. Any ideas?

I'd suggest looking on the adobe forums. I found a solution to a similar problem but with illustrator:

I had the same problem, it was "adobeupdater.dll" , I have as well another adobe apps and they use this "dll" and they are the same size, instead acrobat had different. So I "borrowed" this dll and pasted it into acrobat dir and that solve my dilema. My problem was with Acobat Pro v8 and Acrobat Reader
