Adobe Reader 6 Japanese Font Pack

According to Adobe's website, asian font packs are included in version 6.0.

I am unable to open any type of japanese pdf and receive the error: "There was an error opening this document. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."

Has anyone seen this or could anyone please offer suggestions?
