I have just acquired a Panasonic DVD recorder DMR-ES15 and it has a DV input, however I cannot play out from Premier and record to the DVD machine via IEEE1394 cable.
When I connect the DVD machine to the PC via the 1394 cable, I get the "boink" tone and the device manager shows the yellow question mark and tells me there is a AV/C subunit driver problem.
Now, Premier will talk to my Canon camcorder without a problem via the 1394 cable, and the DVD recorder will record from the camcorder without a problem via the 1394 cable.
It seems that the output from Premier is not compatible with the DVD DV input? I would appreciate any help.
I have been unable to find any suitable drivers!
