adobe pdf monitor? 1

When I open my Microsoft word 2002 I get the message:



The create Adobe PDF monitor cannot be found please reinstall create Adobe PDF



What does this mean and how do I do this? From which software?

had the same problem and resolved it by doing the following.

Under the directory \windows\program files\Office10\startup there was a template called PDFWRITER97.

This template has macros imbedded and when I removed the template from the directory the problems went away.

Thanks. This worked for me too. In my case I had to find the file PDFWRITER97.dot by doing a search. I moved it to TEMP in case I needed it back. Error message is gone.
