I have an application where my layout is two 8 1/2 x 11
pages that are side by side to print 11 x 17. The printer is set for tabloid 11 x 17 landscape. When it prints the print is portrait, two up across the 11" width. I have worked with this problem but I am not making any headway.
Does anyone have a suggestion that will enlarge the print and print it correctly the 17" length, 2 up to be folded to make a cover?
This forum is great. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

The best way to do this is to make your Pagemaker document an 11" x 17" landscape layout. With guides/crops indicate where your fold is. This is the manner in which I always create folded brochures. Does that make sense?

Can you give some detail on how to perform this function.
Thanks.

This is all adjusted in the page setup and print dialogs. You need to explore these yourself as they are different depending on your printer.

Hi cookie,
Open one of your Pagemaker documents.
Go to File>Document Setup and select Tabloid as your page size and click on the Wide radio button, then further down is the Compose to Printer selection and select your printer. And press OK.
Now to set your guide to show where your fold is:
If your Rulers are not displayed,go to View>Show Rulers.
Then drag a guide out from the left rulers bar and drag it to the 8 1/2 position to show where your fold will be. Now just begin to layout your cover design. That's basically it. Hope this helped. BTW I'm using Pagemaker version 7.01
