Adobe InDesign

Does InDesign allow the "attachment" of graphics to a text position such that as one edits the text the graphic moves with the test to stay in its assigned positiion? If so, what is this called? I have searched User Guide and Adobe forums without success. Thanks in advance for any assistance this might generate.

This is called 'inline graphics'. Details about their use in PageMaker can be found at

InDesign uses the same concept of inline graphics as PageMaker.
