When I save my InDesign document, the program create InDesign lock file as well(the extention of this file is .dilk). I don't know what it does and what to do with that.

Any idea?

Thanks.

idlk files are used for checking stories in and out in InCopy and, I think, Version Cue.

You might look at Preferences/File handling and see if Version Cue is checked. If it is and you don't use it with other people try unchecking it and see if you stop creating idlk files.

Thank you for your advice, jmgalvin.
I just checked my Preferences/File handling option but my Version Cue is unchecked. Any other thought?
