Howdy,
I've got a user that is experiancing a problem where it won't allow you to open up an adobe pdf document in IE. It just diplays the red x.
We've tried uninstalling Adobe, and installing the new version 6.0.1. That hasn't worked, we've run updates to the PC via windowsupdate.com and that hasn't fixed the issue. Yesterday I remoted in and discovered their was an update for adobe, but the update wouldn't apply it said their was an error during installation. I tried adjusting the security settings and found somewhere online it might be an active X component or something. The only thing I'm able to figure is that it could have previous version files on the system that are interfearing with it?
We're running Windows XP, With the latest version of IE 6.x and currently has adobe 6.0.1.
Thanks,
Dd.
