I have Adobe Acrobat Professional Version 6.0. I'm trying to print a file to a PDF and getting the following error message:

This document does not pass PDF/X-3 compliance checks.

Anyone know what this means? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

PDF/X is an exchange format standard, and PDF/A is an Archive format standard. PDF/X is a subset of the Adobe PDF specification and is designed for the blind exchange of final print-ready pages. It is one of the most predictable ways to deliver documents bound for press

In the conversion settings it has been turned on to check for compliance against the standards.

Just need to turn off the compliance setting. Are you using Distiller, the Print Menu or a button to create the PDF?
