Hello,
When printing from any Adobe application, it can´t find my printer, HP Deskjet 980cxi, therefor I can´t print!?

Very strange because with all other apllications it works just fine printing.

Do I have to manually apply the printer to Adobe CS?
I work with Mac G4 OSX 10.3.9

Please help me!

Do you mean that your printer does not show up in the Printer scrolling menu when you hit Print? If yes, that's very wierd.

Go to Systems Prefs on the Apple menu and Print/Fax. Click on Set up Printers and see if your printer shows up.

Could it be that you're printing a lot of stuff out of Classic and the printer driver is the Classic driver rather than the OSX driver? If so, you might visit the HP site and download the OSX driver for the machine.

thnx for quick answer.
Yes the printer does not show up in the scrolling menu, and when I edit the printerlist and choose the printer it still doesn´t come up.

The printer shows in system prefs/print/setup.
I only use OSX and have the latest driver from HP aswell.

Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat... just can´t find it?!
All other apps, no problemo!

What can be wrong?

You might try editing printer list in System prefs, deleting the printer and then adding it back. Or try reinstalling the driver which probably predates your install of the system update and CS.

I use Creative Suite with various HP inkjets on 10.3.8 with no problems, so it's hard to replicate your problem.
