Adobe Acrobat won't open pdf

Hi,

I have seen this a few times and haven't found a solution to it, so maybe someone on this board knows the fix. I have Adobe Acrobat 6 installed on two computers and when the users try to open a PDF file by clicking on it, it doesn't open, it asks them to save the PDF. Does anyone know the fix to this? Thanks for any help!

It depends where you're clicking on the PDF... Internet, email, desktop, C: drive....

Those will usually all have different options: Internet will open or save it, email will save it (or open too, I forget), anywhere on your computer will open it...

Remove, re-boot and re-install AA6.

What happens if you try to open Acrobat first and then open the PDF?

What does it do if you associate PDFs with Acrobat Reader and then double click them?
