Hi,<br><br>I have an unusual problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader on a Citrix MF Server. If I print a document from the server console to a printer attached to client ws running 95 The document prints ok. If I login to the Citrix server from the Client (same user) and print I get GARBAGE. Any ideas????<br><br>Please assist if possible<br><br>THKS<br>Clinton
 
Hi, This is a document from Citrix, it may help.<br><br>Regards<br>Raj<br><br>Adobe Acrobat 3.0x and 4.0 viewers may not work as expected when used on a Windows Terminal Server (including printing).<br><br>Details:<br><br>When users try to print using Adobe Acrobat from an RDP or ICA session, the document may not print correctly. This behavior can manifest itself in numerous ways. Most documents will print garbage/symbol characters if you are experiencing this issue. There are two workarounds that can be attempted to resolve this issue:<br><br>The online documentation that comes with Adobe Acrobat makes some references (in addition to below) to printing issues.<br><br>Using the Print As Image option may eliminate printing problems<br><br>If Acrobat Reader fails to print a file correctly, try selecting the Print As Image option in Acrobat Reader's Print dialog. This option, which tells Acrobat Reader to send a 300 dpi raster image to the printer rather than vector art, may enable troublesome files to print. Windows Terminal Server has three components: the server itself, the user interface transfer protocol, and the client. Windows Terminal Server runs applications on the server side. Only the application's graphics, keyboard, and mouse input are transmitted to the client. Instead of installing an application to every desktop client, you can install the application only on the server.<br><br>While you may be able to install and run Acrobat viewers on a Windows Terminal Server, Acrobat Technical Support cannot assist you with problems if you do so.
