Adobe Acrobat 6

We have been using GP 8.0 since the beginning of the year. We are having a terrible time getting Acrobat 6 to work with it. When we try to e-mail a sales order or Purchase Order, it tells us that teh Post Script fonts are not allowed. Adobe 5 still works, but why should I have to have 5 installed when we can now get version 7. Tech Support seems to be mentally challenged with this problem. I don't know if it is because we have the upgrade version of adobe instead of the full version?

Has anyone had similar problems?

Have you solved this problem ? I'm having the EXACT same problem. GP8.0 with Acrobat 6 UPG.

I have had numerous problems with both Acrobat 6.0 and 7.0 over the years. With GP 7.5 and 8.0. Tech support was completely useless on this, finally telling me after weeks of back and forth that there is a known issue that sometimes occurs and they are working on it. Through a lot of trial and error I finally got it to work. Here is what I would try to troubleshoot:

1. Are you on the latest GP service pack? This does make a difference.
2. Did you install Acrobat before or after GP? If before, try uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat. Make sure to do a COMPLETE install. Don't change any defaults once installed, just try to use it from GP.
3. If you think you may not have done a complete install, uninstall and reinstall Acrobat.
4. If you have set up any non-default printing settings in Distiller, delete them. This is a bit of a pain, as there is nowhere within the Acrobat applicaton that you can delete settings, you have to search your hard drive for the file name and delete the actual file.

Have you installed the Acrobat updates, we have no problem with Adobe v6.03. insatll update 6.01 then 6.02 then 6.03
don't have any more problems. I see we need to update to v6.04
