Adobe Acrobat 4.0-Distiller opening?

Recently upgraded to W2K and now when I click on PDF files, it opens Adobe Distiller rather than Reader. I have reinstalled and that did not help. The only way I can open these files in Reader is to first open Adobe Acrobat then File>Open. Any suggestions?

Hello,
Try this to associate the pdf to be openned by default by reader.
Go to the icon for the pdf.
Right click holding down the shift key and chose OPEN WITH
Choose reader from this list and make sure you click the always use box in the bottom.
I know that on some win systems this box is not there.
If it is not on yours you will need to find out from Win how to associate the file to the program.
