Ok, my team has been using 4.0 for years and have had NO problems. Now my company will not support or renew licenses for 4.0 and says we need to upgrade to 5.0. It seems 5.0 is a little different in the way it exports reports to .pdf via code. Now, we're told that once 6.0 clears testing, we will have to upgrade to that, and from what I've heard, 6.0 doesn't even have the PDFWriter printer!

We have many dbs that have been automated to spit out reports using 4.0 so our options are:
1.) Buy 4.0 ourselves and change nothing
2.) Convert all dbs to 5.0 and then convert to 6.0 when the time comes
3.) Buy 5.0 and update dbs to run with it

I've figured out whan needs to be changed in our dbs to run 5.0, but I have no clue how 6.0 would work since there's no PDFWriter printer included. Input/suggestions? Has anyone got 6.0 to work using the distiller to output reports automatically?

thanks!
