adobe 7 to adobe 2 mobile

Hi all am new to this so please bear with me. I have created a PDF document from word and when opening it on adobe 7 it looks perfect. the problem is that i need to transfer it to my PPC ipaq which has adobe reader 2.0 mobile on it. Most of the document is ok on the transfer but on quite a few pages there are letters missing from some words and the text is a bit messed up any ideas on what i am doing wrong or is it just that the 2 progs are not completely compatible. Bit of a shame if it is the latter as am quite impressed with my efforts in making the document inthe first place LOL
