Adob acrobat 6 icons doubled

Here is one for you guys,

I am running Winxp Pro, with Adobe acrobat 6.0. When the program starts, doesn't matter how, all icons in the toolbar, and also the splash screen, are half sized and doubled, sitting right next to each other in the place it should be. For example the save Icon on the toolbar, instead of being a small floppy disk Icon, it is 2 half size floppy disk icons, and this goes for every icon in the program. Not only that, some pictures, not all, in pdf files are also doubled. Any idea as to what may cause this???
