I installed Microsoft Data Access SDK 2.6. Several issues:
1) The reference to Active X Data Objects Library 2.6 does not show up in Project/References of my Visual basic project, 2) ADODB help is not accessible through F1 key, and 3) When I manually open ADO help, all the code examples shows control characters, which makes it very difficult to read. Has anyone had/solved these issues? If I should be addressing this to a different forum, please let me know. Thanks, Dan.

1) Find the file msado26.dll on your hard drive. Now go into your project references and click on "Browse" and add MSADO26.DLL to your project.
2) I personally don't have an "ADO Help" file. I am on a different version though, maybe that's why. (V2.1) I use MSDN library and type keyword ADO. Maybe once you've added the reference in your project, you'll be able to access the help file directly. ??
3) Can't help you with this.

Hopefully some of this helps!
