ADO Control - 3027 Read Only Error

When the VB front end program runs I get an error stating that my database is a read-only. I have linked VB and Microsoft Access before and it ran succesfully. The properties for the ADO control are correct and the properties to the database file itself says it is an archive file. I am hoping this is something stupid that I am missing. Please Help!!

Try to open the DB only by one state VB or Access.
